Diving
Gannet Island lies twelve miles to the west of Kawhia
Harbour. Most times of the year the water is crystal
clear with water visibilty up to twenty metres or more.
Many divers visit the island in their hunt for the huge
crayfish which live in the holes and crevices of the
vertical north facing wall of the island. X. O. S .
Kingfish abound in the clear waters during the summer
months. " Three 'O' Eight" Fishing and Crazy
Horse are able to take dive parties to the island or
any other parts of the rugged west coast line for some
great diving adventures.

arrange other adventures within two hours of where the
company is based.

Pig Hunting
By arrangement we can hand you over
to two very experienced pig hunting guides. They will
take you on a pig hunting adventure of a lifetime. You
will soon become part of a team that hunt the wild boars
that live in the steep and rugged bush country of the
Kawhia South, Te Anga area.

Fishing in the Bay
of Islands
The Bay of Islands and the Northland
coast is an amazing game fishing location. The area

Sword Fish, Striped Marlin, Yellowtail Kingfish, Blue
& Black marlin, Mako & Thresher shark and Yellowfin
